Frequently Asked Questions
Step 1
You request a quote / consultation and we book you in for an on-site assessment in your home.
Step 2
Scott comes to your house, takes detailed measurements and discusses all aspects of your job requirements.
Step 3
Scott provides a detailed quote outlining the costs involved. This is emailed through to you.
Step 4
You accept the quote. A 50% deposit is required. Upon receipt of deposit, the job is confirmed, dates are booked and finalised for installation.
Step 5
A final site measurement is completed and your kitchen, laundry, bathroom or cabinetry is put into production in our Pakuranga workshop.
Step 6
The day before installation date your job is delivered by our trusted delivery company. All other cabinetry is either delivered by our delivery company or SR Kitchens Ltd themselves on the day of installation.
Step 7
Installation day – Scott and his team arrive on-site and spend the day installing all cabinetry. For our kitchen clients, if requiring an engineered stone benchtop, this is usually templated on this day.
Step 8
Up to one week later – benchtop is installed and kitchen is complete. The remainder 50% of the quote, plus any additional charges from changes to design requirements, is invoiced and paid on the day.

What is the turn around time for a new kitchen?
From initial site measure to the finished product would be approximately three weeks. This is dependent on whether building work needs to be done, if flooring needs to be changed or painting and decorating is happening.

How many site visits will we need?
There will normally be two site visits. During the initial quote, Scott takes measurements of the kitchen. A design is finalised between Scott and the client and then a full site measure before the kitchen is manufactured will take place.

Do you provide all trade services as well for the job?
Yes we can if required. We have access to a range of qualified and trusted tradesmen such as plumbers, electricians, builders and tilers.

Do you work all over Auckland?
Yes, we have completed jobs from Cambridge to Aucklands North Shore.

Can I renovate my existing space?
Absolutely, provided your cabinetry is structurally sound, the cosmetic aspect of the kitchen (doors and drawer fronts) can easily be replaced or revitalised.
